(WETM) – Divers from the Steuben County Sheriff’s Office Navigation Division examined the wreckage from Saturday’s boat explosion on Keuka Lake. The team took about 5 hours on Wednesday afternoon to dive 65 feet deep in 43 degree water to collect photo and video evidence of what’s left of the 1955 Century Coronado.

BRADFORD COUNTY, Pa. (WETM) - The National Weather Service out of Binghamton, New York confirms an E-F1 Tornado touched down in Ulster Township through Rome Township in Bradford County on Tuesday. Although no injuries have been confirmed, the twister spanned 200 yards wide with speeds upwards of 100 to 110 miles per hour.

(WETM) - "Her last call was to 911 that she was trapped in the house and couldn't get out," Gary Bredderman, the son of the victim in a deadly Riverside fire, said. Bredderman's 21-year-old nephew, Justin Gause, currently faces multiple charges including manufacturing methamphetamine and manslaughter after a blaze took out his grandmother.

The community near Grove Park in Elmira came together Tuesday afternoon to clean the trash-ridden tables and grounds left over by a party that nearly picked nothing up and left. Plastic cups rolled across the cement floors near the littered tables. Burnt aluminum foil and styrofoam bowls were carried by the wind across the pavilion and onto the playground.

(WETM) - Steuben County Emergency Management Services and other officials recommended the Campbell-Savona Central School District to call for an early dismissal around noon on Tuesday due to rapidly rising waters caused by ice jams. The Cohocton River was littered with large, dense chunks of ice pushing down the stream Tuesday afternoon.

Steuben County officials, New York State Police, and Emergency Services showed local students how crashes from driving while intoxicated realistically unfold during a mock DWI crash at the Steuben County Fairgrounds.

ALFRED, N.Y. (18 NEWS) - Trooper Nicholas Clark was laid to rest today. Thousands of brothers and sisters in blue, family and friends gathered at Trooper Clark's alma mater, Alfred University. "His friends say that Nick was always there hero, the one who would always come to the rescue. The one who would always answer their call....Nick Clark answered our call on Sunday...his life was taken because he did what we asked him to do.
